tipping the scales

Wyatt has been working hard on his muscle strength and control, especially legs and neck/back, and he's been getting into a conversational mode with coos, gahhs and lots of exciting vowel sounds. Will and I eat up every second, of course!


The photo above, from last week, is of the big, beautiful stocking Great Grandma Jean knitted for Wyatt. We wanted to take a photo of him actually IN it, but, guess what... he was too big!

At Wyatt's one-month checkup yesterday, he was off the charts for both height and weight: 23.75 inches long, and 14 pounds, one ounce!!! We started a low-stakes pool (i.e., no money on the line), and if I'm remembering the bets right, Will's estimate of 14-2 was the closest. Go, Wyatt, go!
