The Traveling Circus Has Landed

After a summer of travels, we have finally landed more or less on our feet in Alabama, where it's--you guessed it--pretty darn hot. (I would say damn but that would be a misdemeanor in Alabama.)

Some things have stayed the same, and some have changed: Wyatt is walking and running all over the place, and saying something that we suspect may be no (na-na-na-na as he turns his head from side to side and scrunches up his mouth and eyes), and Will is no longer studying for the bar exam. Sarah has had her first exposure to the effect of the Alabama accent on the Spanish language. Meanwhile, Daddy and Wyatt are keeping themselves busy performing a series of carefully controlled experiments in a burgeoning new field of chaos theory.

Well, it's not a theory, really, it's just a fact. This kid has a lot of books, and a lot of toys, and every item needs to see some action every single day. Luckily a portable book hospital is always standing by for emergency surgery on his favorite texts.

More later, now that we've finished settling in and have time to take some pictures.
