We've been having a wonderful visit in Minnesota.
Here Wyatt protests against the grass, which he hadn't gotten used to yet, out in the yard with Grandma Mary and his blue tugboat.

Cupboard-raiding is a favorite indoor activity.

And his "swimming pool" is lots of fun on the deck.

We drove down to Ames and Dexter, Iowa last weekend for a fabulous wedding. Rich and Scott, Will's uncles, celebrated twenty years together with a party that we'll never forget. We'd been hoping to see the famous hobby farm for quite a while.
Will's cousin, Lindsay, with a pony, Will, and Wyatt:

Picturesque barn, peacock, chicken:

Ben, Will and Wyatt with Bottom, a frisky baby mule, and Bottom's mom (the pony):

Wyatt loved the pot-bellied pigs -- one was enormously pregnant.

Rich, one of the grooms, with fresh eggs:

Cliff/Boppy, Great-Grandma Jean, Mac (Josie's boyfriend), Josie (Will's cousin), and Wyatt:

The sweet, celebratory wedding ceremony:

Setting up the food:

Some members of the Des Moines Gay Men's Chorus led a rendition of "Somewhere" (there's a place for us... in Iowa!).

A huge bonfire in the llama pasture to cap off the celebration (the llamas were transfixed):

these photos make me miss Wyatt so much! I love his sweet smile and bald little head. Big kisses on that perfectly round little noggin.
